I have been training with Darran since June 2006. My approach to him in the beginning was with a view initially to seek some help and advice, on how to motivate myself on going to the gym more regularly and to improve tone, shape and fitness.
Darran is extremely knowledgeable and has helped to completely improve and change my body shape. When I started out, I soon learnt that it wasn’t just about losing a little weight; it was about changing the composition of my body and making different life style choices. I wouldn’t have known where to start, or how to go about achieving this.
I have learnt so much from Darran in our training sessions. In the year and a half that Darran has worked with me, he has identified that I am a carbohydrate type and has advised through a nutritional programme what is ideal for me and my body. Its not just about lifting weights in the gym, it’s so much more than that.
With Darran’s skill and expertise I have become stronger, fitter and leaner. I have achieved my initial goals and improved so much, but it doesn’t stop there however. Darran continues to motivate me, constantly changing my programme and setting new goals. He has recently started teaching me kickboxing, which I am really enjoying.
Darran is definitely someone I would recommend to talk to if you want to achieve a better body, a pure body. He not only pushes me but he pushes himself, updating his knowledge through further education in his professional field, continually striving. He is dedicated on getting results.

As I suffer with posture and back problems I required a programme for corrective exercise although I also wanted to improve toning and general fitness, which has been successfully achieved in my programmes and I have noticed a great deal of improvements over the year. I have been training with Darran for three years now. When I first started i just did weight training every four weeks. I have now increased it to every two weeks and do weight training and kickboxing.
Darran always makes my sessions fun, enjoyable and i always look forward to them. I feel like im getting stronger with my kickboxing and its a great way to get my frustrations out.
Darran is very friendly and always pushes me hard. Even though Darran has lots of qualifications, he still goes on courses and pushes himself to learn more.

After a long time doing my own exercise at the gym I needed a change and I asked Darran to show me some new effective exercises which were different to my own exercises regime at that time. Darren had the perfect excercises for me and my lifestyle. Before I started my sessions with Darren, I had back pain more than 4 times a year. Since I have changed my exercises to a full body and core training the pain is gone and I feel much stronger. Every session is exciting and fun.
